Filed under: Featured , News , UFC The UFC’s run to the end of 2016 began last week with the spectacular UFC 202 card, and the promotion’s efforts to keep fight fans busy almost every weekend between Aug. 20 and Dec. 30 continues on Saturday with UFC on FOX 21. This event has a strong four-fight main card that’s headlined by a welterweight bout between contenders Carlos Condit and Demian Maia . While it’s unclear what this fight means to the 170-pound division as a whole, one thing is certain: Neither Condit nor Maia can afford a loss if he wants to keep his name on the shortlist of possible title contenders. In the co-main event, former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis makes his featherweight debut against the always-dangerous submission artist Charles Oliveira .
