EDMONTON – First on the scale at the official UFC 240 weigh-ins was a fighter not officially scheduled to fight. Alexander Volkanovski didn’t advertise his job as backup fighter for UFC champ Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar . But he earned every bit of his pay. The featherweight contender estimates it took him 38 hours to get from his hometown in New Zealand to Edmonton, host of Saturday’s pay-per-view at Rogers Place.
