Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos LAS VEGAS – Anthony Johnson is confident he’s locked up the next UFC light heavyweight title shot after knocking out Glover Teixeira in 13 seconds in the UFC 202 co-main event. And he doesn’t see Jon Jones stepping in the way of that, even if he’s cleared for a return to competition. At UFC 202, Johnson (22-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) earned his third knockout victory in a row when he obliterated Teixeira (25-5 MMA, 8-3 UFC) with a massive uppercut just seconds into the contest. It was Johnson’s fifth sub-one-minute knockout under the UFC banner, and this one appears to have solidified him for a rematch with current 205-pound champion Daniel Cormier (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC). “Rumble” said he envisioned the fight going similar to the way it did, he just didn’t anticipate it to end so quick. “Not 13 seconds, but I knew that I would knock him out eventually,” Johnson told MMAjunkie following the fight.
