Although it wasn’t a marquee match-up with Ronda Rousey , Holly Holm or Miesha Tate, Cris “Cyborg” Justino made her Octagon debut at UFC 198 in May. Fighting at a catchweight of 140 pounds, the Invicta FC featherweight champion did what she does best, she blasted Leslie Smith, putting her away in 1:21 of the first round. Cyborg’s UFC debut had been a long time coming, but fans still have clamored for her to fight one of the big names in the bantamweight division. The problem for Cyborg is hitting the 135-pound mark required for such a fight.
