Bubba McDaniel is apparently in a tough spot after losing out on a high-profile Bellator fight just days after being granted the opportunity. McDaniel (28-10 MMA, 3-1 BMMA) agreed to fight former Bellator light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary (12-2 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) at next week’s Bellator 185 event after Muhammad Lawal (21-6 MMA, 10-4 BMMA)  was forced to withdraw due to an injury. The matchup came together on short notice, but McDaniel was willing to move up a weight class and take on the challenge
