Apparently it wasn’t good enough for Alex Morono to beat a 15-year veteran of the sport in Josh Burkman . No, instead of satisfying himself with a submission over a competitor on Season 2 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” now Morono wants to reach all the way back to the first season for a fight with Diego Sanchez . If Morono didn’t come off as such a nice guy, it might almost feel predatory. At UFC Fight Night 126 on Sunday, Morono (14-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) needed just a shade over two minutes to drop Burkman (28-17 MMA, 6-12 UFC) with a punch, then submit him with the very same guillotine that’s been Burkman’s own go-to finish for years.
