CM Punk is familiar with bright lights and raucous crowds. As WWE champion, he performed on wrestling’s biggest stage and was one of the organization’s biggest stars. But as he competed in his UFC debut on Saturday at UFC 203, it was quickly clear that Punk was overmatched by Mickey Gall as the the 24-year-old fighter mauled the former pro wrestler. Even so, Punk wouldn’t change a thing about the giant leap he took from the WWE to the UFC. “ The process was magical. I’m just disappointed,” he said at the UFC 203 post-fight press conference. “I’m beating myself up way more than I got beat up.
