Remember the Conor McGregor fan who ran into the octagon during the UFC 229 brawl, the guy who “thought Conor could be killed” so he decided to take matters into his own hands to try and protect the former champion? Yeah, David Martin won’t be doing that again. We know this because Martin, 41, has been banned from future UFC events held in the U.S. until further notice. He told For The Win on Thursday that he hadn’t heard from the promotion until he received the letter informing him of his ban, which he shared on Instagram . Below is Martin’s full response, via FTW : This evening (Dec 6th at 4:42pm PST) I received a “NOTICE of Action by Zuffa, LLC dba UFC” by email from UFC’s Chief Legal Officer and Executive VP, banning me from future UFC events for entering the Octagon on October 6th.
