ABU DHABI – Curtis Blaydes is going into his next fight with a peaceful mindset. The soft spoken Blaydes isn’t one to talk trash, so going into this fight with Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC 242 is a refreshing change from his last outing. He’s coming off a win over Justin Willis at UFC on ESPN+ 6 , in a fight in which he felt compelled to go back and forth. He wasn’t a fan of Willis’ antics, thus his excitement toward his upcoming matchup – one in which he only has to focus on the fight.
