Should we pump the brakes on any talk of a possible fight between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal ? On Tuesday night, while speaking to MMA Junkie and other reporters in Las Vegas following the “Contender Series,” UFC president Dana White denied Masvidal’s claim that negotiations have begun between the two fighters. “Why, did I say I was doing Diaz and Masvidal on Saturday (at the UFC 241 post-event news conference)?” White said. “Well … they asked me, and I said, ‘Who doesn’t want to see that fight?’” But … “No, no progress,” White added.
