Alexander Volkov at UFC 229: Best photos view 10 images NEW YORK – Derrick Lewis has the biggest fight of his career on Saturday night with a chance to dethrone the sport’s top pound-for-pound fighter. To do it, Lewis (21-5 MMA, 12-3 UFC) will have to pull off a fairly monumental upset of heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) in the UFC 230 main event. Cormier, who also is the light heavyweight champion for the next two months, is a 7-1 favorite. But Lewis thinks Cormier agreed to fight him on about a month’s notice to give UFC 230 a more sellable main event because of a fear of someone he’s lost to twice: Jon Jones .
