In Saturday’s Bellator 192 co-headliner, MacDonald (20-4 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) claimed the welterweight title from Douglas Lima (29-7 MMA, 11-3 BMMA) with a hard-fought and grueling unanimous-decision victory (watch the highlights above). Following the Paramount-televised event at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., the fighters posed for a photo – one in which MacDonald was seen sitting on a stretcher with his new belt.
