LAS VEGAS – You’d have needed a crowbar to pry the smile off Edmen Shahbazyan ’s face after this past Friday night. Shahbazyan (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), in his UFC debut, took a split decision from Darren Stewart (9-4 MMA, 2-4 UFC) in their middleweight fight on the main card at the TUF 28 Finale in Las Vegas. Shahbazyan, from California, came to the UFC by way of a 40-second TKO win in a Dana White’s Contender Series event in July.
