By the time Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk completed 25 minutes of beating each other up at UFC 248, there was one question on everyone’s mind: How the heck will the judges score the fight? Weili (21-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Jedrzejczyk (16-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) put on an all-time classic in Saturday night’s co-main event, with the champion retaining the strawweight title by split decision . Each of the three judges – Mike Bell, Derek Cleary and Eric Colon – had it 38-38 heading into the fifth round, but none of them arrived to that conclusion the same way. The only score the judges did have in common was Round 3 as 10-9 for Jedrzejczyk. You can check out the scorecard below: UFC 248 took place at T-Mobile Arena and aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
