James Gallagher says he saw the lowest of lows during his 14-month layoff prior to Bellator 204. Former UFC champ Conor McGregor was instrumental in helping him get through it. The past year hasn’t been kind to Gallagher (7-0 MMA, 4-0 BMMA). First, he was forced to withdraw from a main event spot in his native Ireland at Bellator 187 in November due to a knee injury .
