NEW YORK – Friday night, Bellator featherweight Juan Archuleta scored the biggest knockout, and victory, of his career. Squaring off with former champion Eduardo Dantas on the Bellator 222 main card, Archuleta ended the Brazilian’s night with a brutal right hand in the first round. Archuleta (23-1 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) didn’t attempt any follow-up shots, because none were needed – Dantas (21-7 MMA, 11-4 BMMA) was out cold before he hit the mat.
