According to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, we won’t be seeing the UFC lightweight champion face either Tony Ferguson or Conor McGregor next. Nurmagomedov (28-0 MMA, 12-0 UFC)  submitted Dustin Poirier in the third round at UFC 242 to retain his title, and talks of his potential next started almost immediately. At the UFC 242 post-fight news conference, UFC president Dana White confirmed that former interim lightweight champ Ferguson, who’s currently riding a 12-fight winning streak, would be next “if he wants the fight.” But Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, disagrees.
