Legacy FC 44 will take the promotion back to Texas as the Houston Arena Theatre plays host to a card headlined by welterweights Valdir Araujo and Alex Morono . Legacy FC promoter/owner Mick Maynard today confirmed the card today with MMAjunkie, the main card is expected to air on AXS TV live on August 28. The event will feature a trio of bouts between members of the Blackzilians camp against Texas fighters, including the main event which features Blackzilians member Araujo (14-5) against Houston’s Morono (9-3). In addition, Blackzilians fighters Jason Jackson (4-2) and Carington Banks (3-0) will face local fighters Charlie Ontiveros (5-3) and Justin Reiswerg (9-4) in a welterweight and lightweight bout, respectively. Three more fights make up the remainder of the main card. Jonathan Harris (9-5) will face Rey Trujillo (18-14) in a lightweight bout, welterweights Andrew Parker (6-0) and Sage Northcutt (4-0) will face off and bantamweight Colin Wright (3-2) will be in action against an opponent to be named later
