Whenever the topic of the United States Armed Forces comes up, the first thing that often comes to mind are words like “sacrifice” and “service.” But after recently visiting Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) in Hampton, Va., with a few UFC fighters and members of the MMA community, those words and titles now carry weight in a way they didn’t before. The trip started on an early Thursday morning, with a crew of people from all parts of the country convening in a hotel lobby.
