Controversial or not, Kevin Lee ’s rear-naked choke finish of Michael Chiesa at UFC Fight Night 112 will stand. After discussing Chiesa’s (14-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) request for a formal hearing to try and change Lee’s (16-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) submission win into a no-contest, the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission decided there “wasn’t enough evidence” to overturn referee Mario Yamasaki’s decision to stop the headlining contest in the first round.
