Daniel Pineda quickly admitted fault for his use of a banned substance in the 2019 PFL Playoffs, and for that reason the Nevada Athletic Commission has showed some leniency. Following his back-to-back first-round finishes at the PFL postseason event in October, Pineda (26-13) was flagged for having an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio in his system .
