The big Australian (8-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) went toe to toe with battle-tested Bulgarian Blagoy Ivanov (18-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) for three full rounds in their heavyweight main card opener in Chicago. Despite looking to push the pace throughout, he found himself on the seat of his pants in the first round as he went on to lose a unanimous decision. It gave Tuivasa the first back-to-back losses of his mixed martial arts career and, in an Instagram post, he shared his frustration with his fans
