Daniel Cormier did what he had to do to beat Anderson Silva at UFC 200, even if it came at the disdain of the live crowd at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Cormier (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), the UFC light heavyweight champ, faced Silva (33-8 MMA, 16-4 UFC) in a short-notice fight after original opponent Jon Jones was pulled from the UFC 200 headliner on fight week. It wasn’t the most thrilling affair, but “DC” used a wrestling-heavy game plan to best “The Spider” over the course of the three rounds in a wisely fought affair. Check below for the top Twitter reactions to Cormier’s victory over Silva at UFC 200.
