Filed under: Featured , Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos ATLANTA – With back-to-back losses and a 1-3 ledger over his past four contests, UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal has no illusions about the state of his fight with Ross Pearson at UFC 201. “This is the first time ever I’ve had two losses,” Masvidal (29-11 MMA, 6-4 UFC) told MMAjunkie three days in advance of his FS2-broadcast bout with Pearson (19-11 MMA, 11-8 UFC) – a replacement for the infirmed Siyar Bahadurzada (22-6-1 MMA, 2-2 UFC) – at Philips Center in Atlanta. “So I’m not up against a wall. I’m, like, in the wall right now.” That all three of the recent losses came by way of split decision serves as a reminder to the MMA veteran how close he is to telling a completely different story in his career. “In another dimension, I could be fighting for a world title,” Masvidal said
