UFC featherweight contender Cub Swanson delivered an historic performance on Saturday when he landed a record number of strikes for a featherweight fight en route to a win  Artem Lobov in the UFC Fight Night 108 headliner. Swanson (25-7 MMA, 10-3 UFC) earned a unanimous decision victory over Lobov (13-13-1 MMA, 2-3 UFC) in the FS1-televised main event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville (prelims aired on FS2 and UFC Fight Pass), further entrenching his name in the 145-pound record books. Although Swanson’s performance was the most relevant on the card in terms of title stakes, several other competitors turned in key victories.
