Desmond Green heard it from the upstate New York fans every time he landed and he rewarded them with a unanimous decision win. Green (21-7 MMA, 2-2 UFC), who wrestled collegiately in nearby Buffalo, N.Y., outworked Gleison Tibau (33-14 MMA, 16-12 UFC) and won with a pair of 30-27 scores and a 29-27. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 131 event at Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y. It aired on FS2 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of the main card on FS1
