Rodriguez and Jung earned the “Fight of the Night,” while Rodriguez and Cerrone each won “Performance of the Night” honors. UFC officials announced the winners following the event, which MMAjunkie attended. Rodriguez (11-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) knocked out Jung (14-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) with one second left in their five-round featherweight main event in what will go down as one of the all-time great finishes in UFC history – and on the occasion of the UFC’s 25th anniversary. Rodriguez was on his way to a loss on the judges’ scorecards before he and Jung threw down for the final few seconds.
