ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – Rustam Khabilov ’s gameplan coming into his fight with Chris Wade was no secret. But that didn’t mean Wade could do anything to stop the grinding attack. The lightweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 87 event at Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FOX Sports 1. It didn’t take long for Khabilov (20-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) to go for one of his trademark takedowns, but Wade (11-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) showed good balance in being able to remain upright and go back to his early plan of leg kicks and jabs
