It certainly didn’t come easy – or especially clearly – but Thiago Alves (23-13 MMA, 15-10 UFC) picked up a much-needed win over a game Max Griffin (14-6 MMA, 2-4 UFC). The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC on ESPN+ 2 event at Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Brazil. It streamed on ESPN+.
