UFC 185-pound champion Chris Weidman underwent successful knee surgery, the fighter revealed on Tuesday evening. Weidman took to social media to update everyone on his injury and appeared upbeat in a photo he uploaded following the procedure. “Surgery was a success!” Weidman wrote on Instagram, while also thanking all for the well wishes. Weidman was scheduled to face former light heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida at UFC 173 on May 24.
