After a blistering start to his bout with Allen Crowder, a fatigued Hardy (3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) launched an obviously illegal knee to the head of a downed Crowder (10-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC), flattening him and leading to Hardy’s disqualification at the 2:28 mark of Round 2. The heavyweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC on ESPN+ 1 show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. It streamed on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
