As expected, Uriah Hall was a better striker than Antonio Carlos Junior , but it was the grappling defense of “Primetime” that earned him a decision win. The middleweight bout was part of the UFC on ESPN+ 16 main card at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The event streamed on ESPN+. Carlos Junior looked to pressure early, but Hall retreated well and landed a few stiff jabs. Carlos Junior then changed levels and got inside quickly, dragging the action to the canvas and slipping around to the back. Hall controlled the wrists well and moved to his feet, and blood streamed down from Carlos Junior’s nose and on to his opponent’s back.
