With takedowns and back control, Elkins (23-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) edged out Bermudez (16-7 MMA, 9-5 MMA) despite a late surge, winning a split-decision victory with scores of 29-28, 28-29, and 29-28. The featherweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC on FOX 25 event at NYCB LIVE at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.
