The UFC’s penultimate even of the year went down Saturday with UFC on FOX 26, which took place at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and aired on FOX following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. A new title contender in the welterweight division came out of the event’s headliner. Former lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos (28-9 MMA, 17-7 UFC) outworked former 170-pound titleholder Robbie Lawler (28-12 MMA, 13-6 UFC) to a unanimous decision , putting him in line to challenge for the belt.
