UFC interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje will be honored by the University of Northern Colorado for his wrestling achievements. Gaethje, an NCAA Division I All-American, is set to be inducted into Northern Colorado’s Athletic Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place in early 2021 with more details to be revealed at a later date. Gaethje (22-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) wrestled for the Bears and became their first NCAA All-American since the wrestling program was reintroduced to the Division I ranks at 157 pounds in 2010. Gaethje on Monday took to Instagram to reflect on his journey, recognizing those who helped him on the wrestling mat.
