Jimi Manuwa apparently is on stand-by for a UFC light heavyweight title shot should either champion Daniel Cormier or Jon Jones drop out of UFC 214, but Alexander Gustafsson has a legitimate gripe. Gustafsson absolutely dominated Glover Texeira this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 109 in what might’ve been the most impressive performance of his career. For all of four rounds Gustafsson battered Teixeira with punch after punch, uppercut after uppercut before getting the fifth-round knockout in the “Fight of the Night.” Take a look at the rankings to see the movement from this past weekend’s action, and ahead of this Saturday’s UFC 212 in Brazil, where No. 2 Max Holloway and No. 1 Jose Aldo will fight for the undisputed featherweight title.
