The front kick is a hard technique to execute, and only a few people have managed to land one in a UFC fight. The most notable was when former middleweight champion Anderson Silva put his title on the line against Vitor Belfort at UFC 126 in a highly anticipated matchup between two Brazilian legends. After a long feeling-out process, the most significant strike of the fight was finally landed a little more than three minutes in – and it was an historic one. Silva whipped out a perfectly timed left front kick that dropped Belfort for the first front kick knockout in UFC history. There have only been six finishes, but they’re some of the best knockouts in UFC history
