Jim Miller has been around the block a few times in the MMA world, but opening a card as big as UFC 200 against the even more experienced Takanori Gomi was hardly business as usual. Miller wasted little time ending the first bout of the historic card, catching a Gomi kick and taking the fight to the floor. From there, he poured on the punishment for a stoppage at the 2:18 mark of Round 1. Vicious GnP by @JimMiller_155 spells the end for Gomi! #UFC200 https://t.co/mvkumzHqg6 — #UFC200 (@ufc) July 9, 2016 The lightweight bout between Gomi (35-12 MMA, 4-7 UFC) and Miller (26-8 MMA, 15-7 UFC) opened up the preliminary card of today’s UFC 200 event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a main card on pay-per-view. Check out the video of Miller’s finish above.
