Colby Covington might have to watch his back next time he steps into the American Top Team gym. Having thrown jabs at two of his teammates, Dustin Poirier and his “ex-best friend” Jorge Masvidal , Covington has made some enemies. He started off by predicting that Khabib Nurmagomedov would defeat Poirier at UFC 242, which Poirier, following his loss to Nurmagomedov, didn’t take so well. Poirier responded to a question where he was asked if he would fight Masvidal, and Poirier said he wouldn’t “sell out” like Covington . The two have since gone back and forth, with Poirier warning Covington about the next time he sees him. In an interview with Chael Sonnen , Covington said he wouldn’t be surprised if a fight broke out between him and his ATT teammates once they cross paths at the gym.
