Manfio (16-3) edged Pettis out during his 2021 PFL campaign and went on to notch two more wins en route to capturing the lightweight title and $1 million prize. The reigning champion got off to a good start this season, when he came from behind to knock out ex-UFC fighter Don Madge at 2022 PFL 1 this past Wednesday. As for what’s next?

ARLINGTON, Texas – Before the 2022 PFL season is over, Clay Collard wants an opportunity to rematch Raush Manfio . Collard (21-9) lost a controversial decision to Manfio in last year’s semifinals, putting an end to his 2021 title hopes. ARLINGTON, Texas – Since parting ways with the UFC, Antonio Carlos Junior has been on a roll. Junior (14-5) picked up three wins to claim the PFL light heavyweight title and $1 million prize last year and kicked off this year’s campaign with a bang. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace made quick work of Delan Monte at 2022 PFL 1 on Wednesday night. He needed just 29 seconds to lock in a D’arce choke , and Junior credits his move back up to light heavyweight as the recipe for his recent success.

ARLINGTON, Texas. – Omari Akhmedov put himself in a good position to kick off the 2022 PFL light heavyweight season. The veteran fighter earned a quick, first-round knockout at Wednesday’s 2022 PFL 1 event in Arlington, Texas. Akhmedov (22-7) put away Viktor Pesta with a brutal right hand that sent Pesta towering down to the canvas. The official stoppage came at the 1:25 mark of Round 1.
