In October, Lencioni (5-2 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) declined to fight at Bellator 232 after former GLORY kickboxing champion Robin van Roosmalen missed the featherweight limit by nine pounds. Agazarm signed with Bellator this past year as one of numerous fighters the promotion has inked with standout amateur wrestling credentials. An additional layer of hype was placed around him, because of his success in the world of grappling and an 8-0 record as an amateur in MMA. When he showed up in the cage for his 160-pound catchweight bout with fellow debutant Jesse Roberts (1-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), though, Agazarm (0-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) couldn’t get anything going and fell short by split decision

As expected, heavyweight grand prix finalists Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader will take home the biggest disclosed paydays at Bellator 214. Emelianenko (38-5 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) is set to make a flat $300,000 to face light heavyweight champ Bader (26-5 MMA, 4-0 BMMA), who will make a flat $150,000 for the heavyweight title fight on Saturday at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. MMAjunkie today requested and received main card salary payouts for the Paramount-televised and DAZN-streamed fight card from the California State Athletic Commission, which regulates the event. Ex-WWE star and Bellator newcomer Jake Hager (0-0 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) is set to receive the second-highest guaranteed payout of the card, earning a flat $50,000 to take on J.W.
