Former UFC fighter Abel Trujillo is accused of sending explicit text messages and videos to a female he knew was underage. Trujillo, 35, is alleged to have sent pictures of his genitalia and videos of him masturbating after friending a 16-year-old on Instagram and Snapchat in March 2018, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by MMA Junkie. The alleged victim told police that she asked Trujillo to stop multiple times and blocked him. But seven months later, after she refreshed her social media accounts, he started sending more nude photos, and she went to the police.

Former UFC fighter Abel Trujillo is facing some serious trouble. Trujillo, 36, was arrested by the Douglas County (Colo.) Sheriff’s Office on charges of sexual exploitation of a child and obscenity, which are both felonies. Inmate records show Trujillo is currently being held at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility with a bond set at $10,000 bond

WINNIPEG – Fighters from Saturday’s UFC on FOX 26 event took home UFC Athlete Outfitting pay, a program that launched after the UFC’s deal with Reebok, totaling $157,500. UFC on FOX 26 took place at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The main card aired on FOX following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Leading the way were former UFC champions Rafael dos Anjos (28-9 MMA, 17-7 UFC) and Robbie Lawler (28-12 MMA, 13-6 UFC), who each received a maximum non-title payout of $20,000 for their main-event bout, which dos Anjos won by unanimous decision . John Makdessi didn’t get respect he wanted from Abel Trujillo and kind of flipped out about it

John Makdessi got the decision victory over Abel Trujillo at UFC on FOX 26, but what he didn’t get was enough post-fight respect for his liking. Some of that might’ve had to do with Trujillo’s pre-fight remarks . In the days before the bout, Trujillo (15-8 MMA, 6-4 UFC) predicted a quick, easy win over Makdessi (15-6 MMA, 8-6 UFC), who Trujillo described as having a “little fragile face.” But after three fairly competitive, if somewhat slow-paced rounds, Makdessi seemed to have gotten the better of the action. As he moved in to embrace Trujillo immediately after the final horn, Trujillo seemed more interested in doing the traditional post-fight, hands-up cage walk, a sort of final plea to the judges and fans. This was something Makdessi did not appreciate. Three rounds of fighting and THEN you get fired up?

Most fighters are not Robbie Lawler , who faces Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of Saturday’s UFC on FOX 26 card. When asked about UFC President Dana White saying the winner of the fight would get a shot at welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, Lawler seemed unfazed. “I haven’t had any communication with (White), but I’m not too worried about that because you’ve got to win anyway,” Lawler told MMAjunkie . “We’ll see what happens after that.” Lawler, the former welterweight champion lost the title to Woodley in June 2016. He defeated Donald Cerrone in his only fight since that loss.
