The two-day tournament will feature adult No-Gi submission grappling divisions for Adults on Friday, July 5. Then, on Saturday, July 6, the tournament will feature all-youth No-Gi grappling and all-adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo Divisions. The Superfights will feature Grapplers Quest’s new 10-minute Submission Only rules with a five-minute overtime, if necessary, using Grapplers Quest points. The much anticipated event features nine blockbuster superfights, including a four-man Pro Tournament.

One day after expressing concern that legalizing gay marriage would lead to polygamy and adults marrying children, the veteran lightweight deleted his posts and issued a press release stating that his comments were taken out of context by members of the media. The release said Thomson was using social media to “poll” fans on “what turned out to be a controversial and thought provoking topic.” “It was not my intention to offend or hurt anyone,” he stated.
