Additionally, it’ll take place the night before UFC 167 in Las Vegas. Brazilian MMA reporter Guilherme Cruz first tweeted news of the event, which takes place on Brazil’s Republic Day national holiday. Sources close to the event confirmed with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that it’s in the works. A venue and host city have not been confirmed for the event. The main card would air on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on Facebook
