Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, who was best known for his headlining run in WWE as Alberto Del Rio and recently competed in Combate Americas as Alberto El Patron , recently was arrested in San Antonio and charged with sexual assault, according to a report by NBC News 4 San Antonio. According to the report, Chucuan, a San Antonio resident, allegedly assaulted the victim, slapping her in the forehead. Chucuan then ordered the woman to put on a dress and dance for him, and told her that if she cried, Chucuan would “take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.” The report also stated Rodriguez committed a sexual assault. According to Bexar County (Texas) public records , Chucuan was arrested May 9, held for several hours, then released on $50,000 bond after being charged with a second-degree sexual assault felony

Tito Ortiz submitted Alberto El Patron this past December for his 21st career win – but as of now, in the eyes of the commission that licensed it, that win has been wiped off the books. The current status of Ortiz’s rear-naked choke win over El Patron in the “Combate Americas: Tito vs. Alberto” main event is “no decision,” according to the official results paperwork (available here) from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversaw the Dec. 7 event at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas

The much-hyped grudge match between Tito Ortiz and Alberto El Patron turned into, well, a match between a former UFC light heavyweight champion who has stayed active, and a professional wrestler who hasn’t fought an MMA bout in a decade. Ortiz (21-12-1) dominated the 210-pound catchweight bout Saturday night, which was the main event of Combate Americas’ first pay-per-view event. The time of the stoppage in Hidalgo, Texas, was 3:10 of the opening round when Ortiz won with a rear-naked choke submission. As a result of the victory, Ortiz won a side bet with El Patron (9-6), who is best known as Alberto Del Rio from his run in the WWE, in which Ortiz had put his UFC belt up against El Patron’s WWE title belt. LONG BEACH, Calif. – For Alberto El Patron , the artist formerly known as Alberto Del Rio, the idea of having one more mixed martial arts fight was always in the back of his mind. The son and nephew, respectively, of legendary luchadores Dos Caras and Mil Mascaras, had a big run in WWE after his MMA career, best known for his stint in PRIDE, ended in 2010. But as busy as he was touring the globe as a professional wrestler, the idea of one more fight was always there.
