Middleweight Trevin Giles (8-0) stayed unbeaten with a split decision over Ryan Spann (9-4) in the headliner. But the goriest highlights of the night came from middleweight Brendan Allen Allen (7-1), who cut open Jon Kirk (19-13) and left him a bloody mess while he pounded him out in the first round. LFA 3 took place at Golden Nugget Lake Charles in Lake Charles, La., and aired live on AXS TV. Also on the card, bantamweight Thanh Le (6-1) tore through Alex Black (11-5) for a first-round TKO, and bantamweight Trent Meaux (6-2) dominated Caio Machado (10-3) for a unanimous decision.

Legacy FC 59 set for return to Houston with Trevin Giles vs. Isaac Villanueva headliner

Legacy FC will return to Houston in September for a card headlined by a middleweight showdown. Legacy FC 59 takes place September 16 from Arena Theater in Houston. The main card airs on AXS TV. In the main event, undefeated Trevin Giles (6-0) faces off with Isaac Villanueva (11-7). The promotion announced the bout along with a complete card via a press release. Also set for the main card is a lightweight bout between Ray Blodget (10-3) and Jason Langellier (4-0), Takayuki Iijima (9-6) vs.

During the AXS TV-televised headliner, which took place at Arena Theatre in Houston, heavyweight Brice Ritani-Coe (4-3) couldn’t continue after opponent Justin Ledet (6-0) accidentally caught him with a thumb to the eye . Legacy FC 55 results: Early eye poke ends Justin Ledet vs. Brice Ritani-Coe

Fans were expecting a heavyweight slugfest between Justin Ledet and Brice Ritani-Coe in the main event of Legacy FC 55. Instead, the fight ended in unsatisfying fashion after Ritani-Coe was unable to continue due to an eye poke early in Round 1. The event took place at Arena Theatre in Houston. The main card aired on AXS TV following untelevised prelims. The two big men looked happy to trade on the feet early in the fight, but a Ledet (6-0) jab slid off the side of the face of Ritani-Coe (4-3). As his hand continued past Ritani-Coe’s face, Ledet’s thumb dug into the eye.
