Allan Begosso doesn’t like to spend a lot of time in the cage. On Friday at LFA 135, the Brazilian bantamweight picked up his sixth first-round finish out of nine professional bouts and this one might be his most spectacular highlight to date. Paris Stanford started the fight aggressively, moving forward and going first with hard kicks. However, when he backed away to reset, Begosso didn’t give him another opportunity to press forward as he charged forward and launched a jumping switch knee out of nowhere to put Stanford (5-4) down and out cold just 45 seconds into the fight.

LFA 90 highlights: Watch Zviad Lazishvili claim vacant bantamweight strap

The LFA cage reopened for business once again Friday night in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as LFA 90 featured an eight-fight card at the Sanford Pentagon. The promotion’s vacant bantamweight strap was up for grabs in the night’s main event as undefeated Georgian Zviad Lazishvili (13-0) submitted the previously undefeated Ricky Steele (6-1) via first-round rear-naked choke to capture the 135-pound title. There was a big knockout for Brazilian welterweight Maycon Mendoca (10-4) in the co-main event, as he finished Devin Smyth (9-3) late in the second round to claim his fourth straight victory under the LFA banner

LFA 90 results: Zviad Lazishvili wins vacant bantamweight title, moves to 13-0

Zviad Lazishvili is the new LFA bantamweight champion. The native of the Republic of Georgia picked up a dominant win in the main event of Friday’s LFA 90 card in Sioux Falls, S.D. to capture the vacant 135-pound title. Lazishvili (13-0 MMA) submitted Ricky Steele with a rear-naked choke at 3:42 of the first round. Lazishvili was nothing but dominant at LFA 90
