Mariusz Pudzianowski ’s fighting career is not over yet. Pudzianowski (13-7), who gained fame by winning the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2008 before transitioning to MMA, is set to make his return to the cage as KSW 59 on March 20. The promotion announced Pudzianowski’s return during Saturday’s KSW 58 broadcast, but did not reveal an opponent for the 43-year-old Polish strongman (via Twitter ): It's official!!! KSW 57 took place Saturday in Lodz, Poland, with three championship fights featured on the card. In the main event, Phil De Fries battered Michael Kita to retain his heavyweight title. And in the co-main event, Marian Ziołkowski was impressive before ultimately finishing Roman Szymanski to claim the vacant lightweight title in their rematch. Also, Antun Racic staved off a tough challenge from Bruno Santos to rally for a close unanimous decision win and retain the bantamweight title. Polish MMA promotion KSW will continue its expansion by breaking new ground in Croatia and introducing a new championship belt. KSW officials informed MMA Junkie that their upcoming event, KSW 51, will crown the organization’s inaugural bantamweight champion, as Croatia’s Antun Racic takes on Polish UFC veteran Damian Stasiak at Arena Zagreb on Nov. 9.

Du Plessis (12-1) made his KSW debut a title-winning one as he dispatched defending welterweight champ Roberto Soldic (13-3) in the main event of tonight’s KSW 43 at Centennial Hall in Wroclaw, Poland.
