In his last fight at UFC 159 in April, Jon Jones suffered a horrific injury during his victory over Chael Sonnen . He dislocated his big toe, which looked like something out of a horror film, the bone poking through his skin, his toe dangling from his foot. That was nearly five months ago, and Jones now says that he – and his toe – is good to go for Saturday’s UFC 165 main event.

UFC Fight Night 27 Results: Carlos Condit Leaves No Doubts in Victory Over Martin Kampmann

That evening, Kampmann took a hotly contested split-decision victory over the debuting Condit in what was one of the year’s most exciting scraps. Almost as soon as their first match concluded, demands of a rematch rang throughout the MMA universe. It took longer than most anticipated, but on Wednesday inside the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, MMA fans finally witnessed Condit vs. Kampmann 2 in the night’s main event of UFC Fight Night 27.

Luckily for the Strikeforce vet, he believes he’s fighting a “watered-down Royce Gracie ” next week at UFC on FOX 8. Masvidal, a 28-year-old American Top Team product who’s fought for a variety of major promotions, made his long-awaited UFC debut in April and scored a decision victory over a tough Tim Means .
