Anthony Perosh Hoping to Get a Top 10 Opponent at UFC Fight Night 33

With Australian light heavyweight Anthony Perosh likely to take his place on the upcoming UFC Fight Night 33 card on Dec. 7in Brisbane, Australia, a fight against Ryan Bader is one that interests the “Hippo.” “I won’t call anyone out today, but I just want to fight someone ranked higher than me,” Perosh said. “I’m not in the Top 10 either, but I’d love a Top 10 fight. If I get one, great; if not, I hope for someone coming off a couple of wins and gives me the chance to move up the ranks.” When asked about a potential match-up with Ryan Bader, who recent was knocked out by Glover Teixeira , Perosh responded, “We”ll have to see, there could be a match there.” Perosh, 41, is a pioneering figure in the sport of MMA in Australia, and a fight on the December UFC card would mark 10 years since he made his pro debut in Queensland

Ryan Bader was coming off an injury layoff after suffering a knee injury, but admitted he was too aggressive in his loss to Glover Teixeira at UFC Fight Night 28 in Brazil on Wednesday night. Bader was due to face Teixeira at UFC 160, until the knee injury struck.
